Chris Hemsworth wants to see the next Thor movie return to its funnier roots.
The Australian actor, who is set to star as the Norse god for the third instalment of the Marvel Studios' franchise, hopes that with Kiwi director Taika Waititi at the helm, Thor: Ragnarok, won't be so serious.
"My intention and discussions earlier were to make it more of an adventure and to get back some of the humour from the earlier versions of Thor," he told the Huffington Post on Wednesday.
"Even extend it from there to make it [have] more humour - be more kind of fish-out-of-water with those characters and put them in experiences and places they're not used to being in, so you can see different personalities evolve.
"The director, I think, is the perfect fit for that kind of change."
