Anna Paquin has spoken out about the misconceptions surrounding her sexuality.
The True Blood actress - who announced she was bisexual during a public service announcement in 2010 - made a point about some people using the label to cover up being gay.
The Kiwi star told the new issue of Zooey magazine: "I'm sure for some people saying they're bisexual feels less scary than making a statement that they're gay."
However the 29-year-old - who plays Sookie Stackhouse in the series - stated that using the term actually means more than being undecided for her.
"For me, it's not really an issue because I'm someone who believes being bisexual is actually a thing. It's not made up. It's not a lack of decision. It's not being greedy or numerous other ignorant things I've heard at this point.
