My favourite summer holiday getaway is ...

I have two and they're both cities starting with A. Auckland, New Zealand or Apia, Samoa.

I love it because ...

Auckland's great in summer because everybody leaves ... the traffic's not so bad and people are in a better mood. And in Samoa they have quite nice weather and even less traffic!

If the weather's fine, you'll find me out and about at ...

My weed garden out the back of my house sitting in quiet contemplation.

I don't like to interfere with nature so my weeds are doing really well.

I'm a Westie so if I hit the beach it'll be Piha or Karekare but I don't swim.

If I'm feeling active there's usually a game of touch with equally unfit friends at Grey Lynn Park.

Or just lying in a deck chair enjoying ...

My PlayStation 2 or any number of books that I picked up during the year but never got around to reading.

The TV shows and websites I can't miss are ...

I take a break from both in summer.

Holiday food means ...

More green stuff and loads of overcooked meat at barbecues.
