What's top of your Christmas wish list this year - excluding world peace?
A rolling pin. Honestly it is. I don't have one and I've been using coffee mugs to roll pastry out. It's unheard of kitchen behaviour.
As a wee'un, what was the one present you always wanted but never got?
A baby. I was weirdly obsessed with babies and wanted one to keep under my bed. In my crazy little child head I thought nobody would notice if I had one under my bed and fed it scraps of food when I came home from school.
Do you still want it?
Yeah, but I'd probably not keep it under my bed.
Defining moment of 2006, for you personally:
I'll tell you when 2006 is over.
Most-overrated thing/person/topic of the year:
The Mills / McCartney divorce and anything Lindsay Lohan.
Album of the year:
John Mayer - Continuum. I'm sorry... but I can't help myself.
Movie/DVD of the year:
Little Miss Sunshine
Person of the year:
Mark Jennings (my boss) for the most wonderfully high and unexpected pay rise. (At the time of writing Mark had not confirmed this and had stopped returning my calls. He's playing hard to get, I know how he works.)
The most important lesson you learned this year was...
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
New Year's resolution for 2007:
Don't look back in anger, do a cooking class, drink some wine after work.
Your predictions for 2007's 'next big thing' ...
Guinea Pigs as personal portable pets.
