Photos of Harper with blood all over her wedding dress looking rather distressed have been doing the rounds, but we're yet to find out if Monday night's annual Shortland Street cliffhanger is about to get all Game of Thrones style red wedding on us, or if Harper has simply ended up doing some urgent surgery in her dress.
Ferndale has always been a risky place to hang about during the festive season - hit and runs, explosions, hostages, runaway cars, drink spikings, murderous intentions, romantic entanglements. And getting married on Shortland Street has always been a dodgy proposal too - the course of true love (or any other kind of love) never runs smooth on our favourite soap.
So combining the two will provide for plenty of dramatic action, and producer Simon Bennett is promising this 90-minute special will be full of romance, intrigue and tragedy on a grand scale - and to really up the ante, he's got operatic Sol3 Mio to make a cameo appearance, and sing the dramatic Santa Lucia.
Heading into the final episode, it seems the biggest question is whether Harper will get over her pre-wedding jitters and actually marry Boyd, or whether her flickering feelings for Drew, and self-doubts about her worthiness will have her call the whole thing off.
And Bella continues to try to convince herself to put her feelings for Boyd to bed, and let him and Harper live happily ever after.
