The pair has been seen together often, including, a source tells us, getting cosy at Ponsonby bar Golden Dawn.
Spy can't recall the last time we'd heard talk of an Ardern boyfriend, and given Gayford recently split with long-time love, the gorgeous actress Shavaughn Ruakere, we were immediately interested.
But the pair were quick to dampen speculation. Gayford told Spy they were just good mates, and Ardern said there was "nothing to report".
