Lorde has shared a new snap from the studio that suggests she might finally be putting the finishing touches on her new album.
The Kiwi pop star posted a casual photo over the weekend saying, "It's summer in the studio too," while wearing a New York Yankees cap.

The cap, and the fact that she said it was "summer", suggests she's recording in America's warmer climate rather than the wintry weather back home.
The snap had fans wondering whether Lorde might finally be finishing the follow-up to 2013's debut Pure Heroine, which came with the chart-topping single Royals.
"I'm so excited for her second album," wrote one follower. "Babe when is your album coming?" asked a second. "In the studio THANK GOD I need your music," said a third.
Despite the occasional guest appearance, including Disclosure's Magnets, Lorde has only occasionally referenced the new album, which she has apparently already titled.

She is yet to confirm a single or release date.
