Rumours are flying that Coldplay will announce an Australian tour - and possibly a New Zealand one too - when the band visits Sydney later this month.
The British band, who released their fifth album Mylo Xyloto last year, will visit Sydney on February 16 and 17 for two intimate shows.
News wire AAP reported Coldplay, led by front man Chris Martin, are expected to announce an Australian stadium tour for the end of the year while they're there.
They were last there to headline Splendour in the Grass six months ago, but haven't performed in New Zealand since 2009, when they played two sold out shows at Auckland's Vector Arena in March.
