British newspaper The Mirror reports that Adele has yet to sign up for any concert dates for 2016, despite being chased by multiple promoters.
The label reportedly believes they can earn more than £100 (NZ$238) per ticket. The report also suggests the singer has been offered up to £750,000 (NZ$1.7m) per night to perform at Las Vegas casinos.
It appears Adele is willing to turn that all down in order to stay home with her family.
"It's understood she is not keen to travel around the world with her son as she adores her quiet family life away from fame and fortune," one source told the paper.
The singer gave birth to her son, Angelo, in 2012. It is suggested she does not want to take him on tour with her. She currently lives with her partner Simon Konecki in ten-bedroom mansion in West Sussex.
Adele's health is also of concern. The source says that "ever since her throat surgery there has been discussions about how much strain she would have to put her vocal chords under during a lengthy tour.
"Under no circumstances do the label want to set Adele back by impacting her voice."
The singer required surgery in 2011 to repair a hemorrhage on her vocal chords that stopped her from singing for over a year.
21 was the highest selling album in 2011 and 2012, and has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Adele won seven Grammys across two years for the album and its singles.
The last single she released was Skyfall, the theme to the James Bond movie of the same name. The song won her an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Her next album includes collaborations with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, Danger Mouse and Max Martin. Ed Sheeran praised it in an interview earlier this year, saying he has heard it is "really good".
