Bob Irwin, flanked by his mother Terriand sister Bindi, celebrated his fourth birthday on Saturday with a massive dinosaur cake and friends including Barney, Thomas the Tank Engine and Humphrey B. Bear.
The crocodile hunter's son was joined by up to 5000 delighted fans who packed the Irwin's famed Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast to join in the birthday celebrations. "It has been a great hit, Robert had an absolute blast," an Australia Zoo spokeswoman said.
Bob is understood to be following in the footsteps of his famous father, renowned for his love of animals and conservation initiatives.
Bob was first exposed to the media spotlight when he was only a month old, after his father was criticised for feeding a crocodile while carrying him under one arm.
