Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her shocking experience with disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, describing their working relationship as "abusive".
Following Weinstein's spectacular fall from grace last year amid dozens of allegations of sexual harassment and assault, it emerged that Paltrow — who worked with the producer on Emma in 1996 and 1998's Shakespeare in Love — had allegedly been one of his victims.
In a new interview with The New York Times Magazine, the actress gave more details on how he had made a pass at her.
"The one time that Harvey propositioned me was really almost the least of it in terms of how onerous that relationship was, and it was very quid pro quo and punitive," she said.
"And I always felt like I was on thin ice, and he could be truly horrible and mean and then be incredibly generous. It was kind of like a classic abusive relationship."
