KEY POINTS:
One of the highlights of the Auckland Art Fair was the sight of venerable Wellington dealer Peter McLeavey manning his stall.
He must be one of the country's most dedicated dealers - his gallery in Cuba St has been open since 1968.
The great thing about the stall was that it featured a rare chance to see the work of painter William Dunning and his beautiful Colonial Altar series (see TJ McNamara's review this page).
McLeavey said of the fair, "It was a great opportunity to connect with clients and to meet new ones and I had a madly stimulating time ... we loved it."
