Friday night drinks? Meet me at: my place, on the couch with a DVD. And some ice cream. And maybe a nanna rug too. It's getting a little chilly.
Where I'll be wearing my new: trackpants. I don't really get that dressed up for my couch.
And this weekend I'm planning on: visiting my big brother and his new wife in Whangaparaoa.
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe: Rakino's on High St. I have a crush on the guy who works there coz he makes the most amazing banana smoothies.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by: Jem and the Holograms.
On my stereo/headphones right now is: Lady Gaga. The Fame Monster. Don't pretend it's not on yours too
The books I can't put down are: Speed Knitting: 24 Quick and Easy Projects by Kris Percival. This is the winter I'm going to learn how to cast on and actually finish a scarf for once.
The TV show I take the phone off the hook for is: America's Next Top Model. I think it's up to Cycle 74 or something now, but it's another good indulgence on trackpants-and-icecream Friday nights.
The movie I've been dying to see is: Boy. At the risk of gushing, Taika Waititi is pretty much one of my heroes. I don't see how this movie will not be awesome.
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from: Ponsonby Food Court for fresh juice and some sort of fish curry.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be: Coco's Cantina on Karangahape Rd. Cool staff, cool atmosphere and you can play cards while you wait for dinner.
