KEY POINTS:
Friday night drinks? Meet me at:
WineHot in Kingsland. It's small enough to be cosy but large enough to talk about private things with your girlfriends (like bras) without being overheard.
Where I'll be wearing my new:
M.A.C. under-eye concealer because I'm so knackered right now I look like a drug addict.
And this weekend I'm planning on:
I'm filming my TV series for TV3, The Jaquie Brown Diaries, and our week begins on Sundays so I'll be reading scripts and practicing facial expressions in the mirror.
But first I'll need to refuel at my favourite cafe:
Altezano on Symonds St - there is now a coffee in there called "The JB" because when I worked on Campbell Live I'd order these hardcore electric coffees with three shots just to jolt me into the day. Saturday evening.
If my dreams came true there would be a gig by:
Kate Bush. I want to see her perform live before I die. I'd sleep overnight on the pavement in a tent to get tickets. As long as it was a good tent. With a blow-up mattress. And a fridge. I'm not 20 anymore.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably:
Bake something. I love baking. Or stare at myself in the mirror and ponder the meaning of life, or get a DVD out, or have a bath or combine all at once and hope for the best.
On my stereo/headphones right now is:
Rihanna - good girl gone bad - and Robyn. The books I can't put down are: I'm about to launch into Tom Robbins' Skinny Legs And All.
The TV shows I take the phone off the hook for:
Flight of the Conchords and Heroes.
The movie I've been dying to see:
Superbad.
A non-cooking Monday night means takeaways from:
Foodrunner.
Or a splash-out Wednesday night restaurant would be:
Vivace ... or Wendy's.
