Google "Michael Jackson" for the past 24 hours and you'll find there have been 15,500,000 hits. So much has happened since the King of Pop's death a week ago - and none of it is good.
I was naive to think that the poor man could finally get some peace.
We've had his dad touting his new music label; the DEA investigating his death; reports that when he died, MJ was 50kg, as bald as a badger and covered in needle marks; Diana Ross being named back-up guardian of his kids - first time Diana's been willing to play back-up - and a former British bodyguard claiming MJ had a secret girlfriend.
MJ will lie in state at Neverland, then, a minute later, a service will be held at the home of the LA Lakers.
The horror continues, and I can't help thinking it's a wonder the poor thing didn't just turn up his toes years ago.
