KEY POINTS:
The cast of Outrageous Fortune had yet another reason to celebrate at the weekend, picking up five prizes at the Qantas Television Awards in the Aotea Centre on Saturday night.
Jason Gunn and Petra Bagust were this year's hosts. TV3's news and current affairs teams enjoyed a night in the awards spotlight, winning best news, best current affairs series and investigation of the year, while Pulp Sport beat off Bro'Town to claim the best comedy prize.
Highlight:
Outrageous Fortune's Frank Whitten delivered the best line of the night when accepting the Woman's Day readers' choice favourite programme award. "It's always nice to make a woman's day," he quipped.
Lowlight:
The excessive heat in the theatre. Sweaty stars aren't that hot.
