Liam Finn proved musical talent may well be hereditary on Friday night, when he teamed up with Jimmy Barnes' daughter Eliza Jane Barnes on stage at the Auckland Zoo.
His proud parents, Sharon and Neil Finn, came to cheer their son on, sitting on hay bales with an entourage of friends and family.
The concert was one of Finn's last New Zealand appearances before heading to America for an eight-month nationwide tour.
An energetic opening set by local band Odessa set the tone for the evening, which raised money for the Wildlife Protection Unit in Sumatra's Bukit Tigapuluh National Park.
