KEY POINTS:
The latest rugby player out to prove it's okay for tough guys to wear sequins is Frank Bunce, with the former All Black set to follow in Norm Hewitt's twinkle-toed footsteps on the reality TV show Dancing with the Stars.
The show returns to TV One next month, with a new line-up of celebrities being put through their paces on the dance floor.
The first season of the show saw Hewitt go from front row forward to dancefloor darling, winning the final ahead of actor Shane Cortese.
Former Miss Universe Lorraine Downes took the crown in the second series, ahead of discus thrower Beatrice Faumuina.
In series three, Bunce will be joined by fellow male contestants broadcaster Paul Holmes, Wanganui mayor Michael Laws and TV presenter and former basketballer Brendon Pongia.
The celebrity women getting set to don feathers and fake smiles for the competition are former Silver Fern and newsreader April Ieremia, actor Greer Robson, singer and NZ Idol judge Megan Alatini and Suzanne Paul -- the informercial queen who brought us Natural Glow.
The contestants, each paired with an experienced dancer, will be put through their paces live each week dancing a combination of classical and Latin dances, all in the name of their chosen charity.
Judges' scores and viewer votes determine which celebrity is ousted each week.
The show will again be presented by Jason Gunn, and co-hosted by Candy Lane.
Memorable moments from previous series include a rhinestone-clad Rodney Hide dropping his dance partner on her head, and Invercargill mayor Tim Shadbolt proving two left feet are no barrier to a long run on the show.
