David Sedaris' Me Talk Pretty One Day, a collection of autobiographical short stories that document American humourist Sedaris' life. In my opinion Sedaris is the funniest man alive. This book is a gem and his observations are hilarious, especially the bit where he moves to France and tries to learn the language. An accomplished writer, he is the only person to make me laugh out loud whilst reading. Addictive.
