Eva Longoria's three-year marriage to her basketball star husband Tony Parker is officially over.
The Desperate Housewives star's divorce was finalised on Friday in a Texas court, according to her rep.
Longoria, 35, filed for divorce in Los Angeles last November, citing "irreconcilable differences," Parker filed papers in Texas a few days later, claiming their marriage had become "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities."
Immediately after their respective filings, reports surfaced alleging that San Antonio Spurs basketballer Parker had a "sexting relationship" with Erin Barry, the ex-wife of his former teammate Brent Barry. Naughty man.
Parker admitted he texted Barry's wife, but denied they'd ever done the wild thing.
But despite rumours of mounting acrimony - compounded by the fact they filed divorce papers in different states - the former couple kept things amicable.
According to TMZ, Longoria's lawyer filed papers on Friday to dismiss the divorce petition she filed in LA.
Both parties reportedly decided that Texas, where the couple's pre-nup was signed, was the best place to finalise their divorce.
Longoria and Parker met in 2004, and tied the knot in France in July 2007.
The actress has reportedly moved on since the split and is back in the dating game. She was most recently linked to Penelope Cruz's younger brother, Eduardo.
The pair reportedly spent Christmas together and were supposedly spotted by a curtain-twitching neighbour frolicking barefoot in Longoria's garage (don't ask).
Longoria's publicist has trashed that particular hook-up report, insisting they're "just friends".
As for Parker, he's throwing himself into his work, and is giving the gossip mags (and blogs) a wide berth.
"The most important thing is to stay strong mentally, even if these are very difficult times," he said in November.
"I've taken refuge in basketball because that's what I've done best since my youth," he added.
As for those pesky scandal sheets...
"The best solution is not to read anything and I didn't read anything," he said. "That's not hard."
He clearly hasn't picked up a gossip mag in his life, yet frequently ogles at the sea of sizzling, salacious headlines glaring up at him from those titillating tabloids by the till. I know his type.
Good luck out there you two!
