KEY POINTS:
TV3 has pulled Monday night show Saving Grace after just two weeks on air.
It stars Holly Hunter as hardened booze hag copper Grace Hanadarko. Maybe people want something more relaxed on a Monday than a show about a drunk, chain-smoking, adulterous cop who investigates murders.
Or maybe Grace couldn't compete against the combined force of New Zealand comedy shows Welcome to Paradise and Flight of the Conchords on Prime in the same timeslot. The network blames the market and has replaced it with re-runs of Bones.
"Although we felt it was a good show it was a difficult sell in this market and it didn't perform as expected," says programming manager Ian Gubbins.
