Hundreds of teenage girls queued outside an Auckland music store tonight, hoping to get an autograph from American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.
The 30-year-old is in New Zealand to promote his new album, Trespassing.
Flanked by security in JB Hi Fi, the Indianapolis-born star signed copies of the CD for a crowd that spanned about 30 metres down Queen St.
Often appearing on best dressed lists, a makeup-donning Lambert wore his black and grey hair spiked high on his head, skull rings on his fingers, black nail polish, and a leather jacket with dark jeans.
He was later spotted eating at Ponsonby Thai restaurant MooChowChow.
