Katherine Heigl, Adam Sandler and Jessica Alba are among some of the worst reviewed actos in Hollywood.
If there's a movie with one of these stars in it, avoid it all costs.
Thanks to the clever folk at Vox, the actors and actresses who most often appear in crappy films have been revealed.
The results were determined by analysing reviews on Metacritic with the following criteria:
• The actor/actress must have performed in at least 10 films
• At least one of their films must have made more than $US30 million
• They must have starred in a film in the last five years
Rob Schneider: With 69 per cent of the films he's appeared in receiving negative reviews, Schneider is officially the world's worst reviewed actor.
And it's no wonder with comments like this from Entertainment Weekly's Owen Gleiberman about his 1999 film, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo:
"Rob Schneider certainly has what it takes to play a doofy, soft-bodied poseur hustler, but this dim farce makes the mistake of setting him up with a series of tricks even lowlier and more pathetic than he is."
Adam Sandler: In second place is Schneider's best mate, Adam Sandler, with more than half of the so-called comedian's movies being panned by critics.
"More than 24 hours has passed since I watched the new Adam Sandler movie Jack and Jill (2011) and I am still dead inside," wrote Time Magazine's Mary F. Pols.
Ouch.
Ashton Kutcher: Unfortunately for the Two and a Half Men star, most of the films he's appeared in have received less than two and a half stars.
With 53 per cent of the film's he's appeared in copping negative reviews, Kutcher is third on the list.
Here's one of those reviews from Jonathan Foreman from The New York Post about Dude, Where's My Car?
"An almost chuckle-free mess, so amateurish and lame that the cast often has that embarrassed look you see on dogs given ridiculous haircuts."
Jennifer Love Hewitt: The former Party of Five star hasn't had much success on the big screen with 70 per cent of the films she's appeared in receiving negative reviews.
Hewitt's appeared in two semi-decent flicks, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Can't Hardly Wait.
And then there are films like her latest effort, Jewtopia, which was released in 2013:
"To call this winkfest toward an astoundingly retrograde sliver of Judaism offensive would be, well, offensive to the word offensive," wrote LA Times critic Gary Goldstein.
Jessica Alba: Second on the list is Jessica Alba whose film credits have received 57 per cent negative reviews.
Sin City is undoubtedly the best film she's appeared in, but her score has been dragged down by stinkers such as Little Fockers, The Love Guru and her latest offering, Some Kind of Beautiful, which was described by the NY Times as "a 99-minute film that seems to last for three hours".
Katherine Heigl: She's famous for being "difficult" on set and 61 per cent of her films have been "difficult" to watch according to critics.
Knocked Up is a standout hit in a long list of misses which include Killers, New Year's Eve and Home Sweet Hell.
"If Katherine Heigl thought the unappetising dark comedy Home Sweet Hell might somehow help her flagging film career, she was greatly mistaken," wrote LA Times critic Gary Goldstein in 2015.
