Hilary Duff slams 'warped' fans who criticized her for kissing son

29-year-old Hillary Duff posted a brief message to Instagram on Tuesday hitting back at negative commenters.

In the snap that garnered all the criticism, Hilary is seen kissing four-year-old Luca on the lips inside Disneyland park on Monday.

The former child star shared the snap from the fun excursion with the caption: "Happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest place on earth! We love you @disneyland."

Now she's lashing out at people who questioned her choices and made a sweet moment into a controversial one.

Hilary's statement read: "For anyone commenting that a kiss on the lips with my four year old is 'inappropriate' go ahead and click a quick unfollow with your warped minds and judgment."

Fans appeared to support the actress with their own comments on her statement.

One fan stood by the actress, commenting on the "sweet picture" and telling the actress to "cherish these moment."

Another agreed and said she does the same: "What? Are you serious. My son is 4 and I still kiss him on the lips."

On Sunday, the actress seemed to be finding some inner peace and getting out her frustration at the shooting range.

She posted a shot of herself firing a high-powered rifle.

"Learned a lot today with @tyleragrey and @jackosbourne this is a tavor x95 #targetshooting," the Lizzie McGuire actress said on an Instagram post.

The star of the TV Land series Younger was well styled for the outing, wearing a cutoff grey shirt tied up near the navel, and tight blue jeans, as she aimed the weapon.

In a shot she posted earlier Sunday, Duff posed next to Jack Osbourne's wife Lisa, clad in a black camouflage vest and long-sleeved black undershirt.

The Cheaper By The Dozen alum wore her blonde coif down with a pair of swanky sunglasses rounding out the look.

On the shooting range Sunday, Duff was flanked by pal Tyler Grey, an expert to oversee the potentially-dangerous process.
