Martin Henderson kept out of the limelight yesterday afternoon, enjoying a coffee and sharing a laugh with friends at a cafe in Ponsonby.
The former Shortland Street star with a Hollywood career was spotted at Dizengoff Cafe on Ponsonby Rd.
Cafe manager Mark said the the 34-year-old actor looked happy and seemed to be in good company.
"He was definitely in good spirits - very casual," the manager said.
Henderson, who is in the country filming the World War II drama Home by Christmas, has said he is looking to buy a property in his homeland after living in America for almost a decade.
He told the Herald on Sunday he had looked in a few areas, including Auckland and the Coromandel.
Henderson said there were many aspects of living in America that he enjoyed, but that there was no place like home - especially true of New Zealand.
