He played a sold-out show last week in Auckland - with 500 rapturous punters lapping up every soul-quaking minute of it - and now Aloe Blacc is coming back for more.
Due to popular demand the new soul music sensation from the US, who is best known for his song I Need A Dollar, plays the Studio in Auckland on Feb 16 (and the night after at Wellington's San Francisco Bath House).
The 30-year-old released his debut album in 2006, but it's the unique vintage soul sound he came up with on last year's Good Things album that has put him in hot demand.
Meanwhile, local live drum'n'bass monsters Shapeshifter have announced a show at the Powerstation on Feb 25. Get your heart tested before that one.
