Heather Graham thinks women "struggle" in Hollywood.
The Hangover actress believes the film industry is still as difficult for females now as it was when it first began and is "shocked" by the ratio of men to women in front of and behind the camera.
She is quoted as saying: "I think it's the same struggle for women to get interesting parts in movies [as it used to be]. In any given movie, 75 per cent of the roles are for men. It's a sexist system. There are only seven per cent of all film directors who are women. It's quite shocking."
The 43-year-old star is no stranger to stripping off for a film role - having bared her body in films such as 2009's Boogie Woogie and 2002's Killing Me Softly - but she insists she is much more reserved in real-life, despite her outspoken nature.
She added: "I'm actually kind of shy and probably wouldn't opt to do that, but I guess when I play another character, it's not me.
