He recently defended himself against claims he has 'lost the plot' after launching a motivational phone service for pets.
And it's now been claimed that UK television personality Noel Edmonds will be taking a break from Britain and emigrating to New Zealand because of its "spiritual feel".
The television presenter, 67, whose hit game show Deal Or No Deal was axed earlier this year is said to be making the move with his third wife Liz Davies, 47.
A source told The Sunday People: "Noel loves New Zealand - there is a real spiritual feel to the place - and wants to make it his permanent base.
"He thinks it is the perfect place to live after his television days are over and he concentrates on his various business projects.
The star admitted he's never been conventional, as he told MailOnline: "Someone accused me of having 'gone off the rails' but I've never been on them hence the success and happiness I enjoy on a daily basis."
To get a free phone call from Noel, pet owners must simply fill in a form on his website and he will ring up and give their animal a pep talk.
Noel explained: "I always have a giggle. Too many people take the living experience too seriously. What's the point of life if we can't be positive, have fun and make the world a better place?"
The service proved to be an instant hit, with Noel receiving 2000 email applications in four hours.
And the star has plans to expand the project, as he revealed: "We have now decided to bring forward our plans to launch the world's first radio station exclusively for animals - Positively Pets - and hope to be on-air by Christmas.
Edmonds is hoping to start a radio station for the millions of pets in the UK.
"I'm inviting pet lovers to send in their audio messages for their loved ones and we will broadcast them plus music requests and 'special relaxing tones' for pets left at home alone."
But not everyone was convinced, and social media was also flooded with a host of hilarious animal memes in light of the latest news.
His latest offering comes a month after Noel's hit game show Deal Or No Deal has been axed.
Channel 4 announced that the next series of the programme will be its last, it was revealed that Edmonds will earn around £10million ($18m) fronting several new shows.
The presenter also unveiled plans to take Deal Or No Deal on the road later this year, for special episodes at landmarks around the country.
The game show, which has been on air for more than a decade, initially proved a hit, but audience numbers have dwindled in recent series.
