A series produced by rapper Drake and his DJ/manager Future the Prince, has been picked up by HBO.
The drama series, titled Euphoria, follows a group of high-school students in a coming of age tale in which they navigate everything from identity to social media to sex, drugs and rock n' roll.
According to the New York Post, the show is based on the Israeli series of the same name and the original's executive producers, Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin will both be executive producers on the HBO version.
Euphoria stars Zendaya as the show's lead Rue, and also features Storm Reid as Gia - the part comes hot on the heels of Reid's leading role in the New Zealand-shot Wrinkle in Time, in which she starred with Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling.
The HBO series also features Maude Apatow, Brian "Astro" Bradley, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Hunter Schafer and Sydney Sweeney.
