Recently reformed US band Faith No More, who were hugely influential in the alternative music scene during the late 80s and early 90s, have announced two NZ dates in February. According to a message posted on Twitter this week by bassist and founding member Billy Gould the band, who will be in Australia for the Soundwave Festival, will play Wellington's TSB Bank Arena on February 16 and Vector Arena in Auckland on February 18.
Swedish metal band Meshuggah are also playing Soundwave and have announced two New Zealand dates, including a show at Auckland's Transmission Room on March 4.
Meanwhile, due to overwhelming demand British singer/songwriter Lloyd Cole has added an extra Auckland show to his New Zealand tour in October.
Cole, most famous for being the leader of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions in the 80s, still has a loyal following. His show at Sale St on Labour weekend has sold out and he plays again on October 31 at the Windsor Castle in Parnell.
Have Faith - they're back
