Author JK Rowling has reportedly teamed up with Warner Bros. to write a film trilogy based on the world of Harry Potter.
Rowling will turn her 2001 wizard textbook Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them into three movies, according to The New York Times.
The textbook is all bout the magical creatures in the Harry Potter universe.
The first in the new film series has been described as "neither a prequel or a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world''.
Warner Bros. boss Kevin Tsujihara says the three installments will follow the adventures of Newt Scamander, a magical creatures expert known as a "magizoologist''.
