Veteran actor Harrison Ford is one step closer to resuming work on the upcoming Star Wars sequel after regaining the ability to walk unaided, six weeks after breaking his leg.

He underwent surgery and returned to the US to begin his recovery and rehabilitation, and now it appears he will soon be ready to get back to work after he was photographed strolling in Santa Monica, California on Monday - without a cast or the need for the supportive crutch.
