Veteran actor Harrison Ford is one step closer to resuming work on the upcoming Star Wars sequel after regaining the ability to walk unaided, six weeks after breaking his leg.
The veteran actor was forced to halt filming his role as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII in early June after his left limb was crushed in an onset accident in the UK.
He underwent surgery and returned to the US to begin his recovery and rehabilitation, and now it appears he will soon be ready to get back to work after he was photographed strolling in Santa Monica, California on Monday - without a cast or the need for the supportive crutch.
His left ankle was simply wrapped in a light bandage.
The 72-year-old's injury prompted film bosses at Disney to announce plans to halt production on the movie in August for two weeks to allow director JJ Abrams time to rework the shooting schedule.
