Hapless George takes the stage

Jason Alexander - the guy who played George Costanza on Seinfeld - is bringing his comedy spectacular to New Zealand.

This isn't just an American comedian coming over to tell us some jokes. Alexander is bringing together top Kiwi comics Jeremy Corbett, Dai Henwood, Michele A'Court, and the Sacred Weird Little Guys, as well as throwing in a Seinfeld Question and Answer session to produce a hilarious night of stand-up and improvisational comedy. The show is at Auckland's Aotea Centre on December 8 and the Opera House in Wellington on December 9.

Alexander is best known for playing hapless George, a role that earned him six Emmy nominations and four Golden Globe nominations, with the Screen Actors Guild awarding him Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
