Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry have called a truce in the custody battle over their two-year-old daughter.
Last month, the Oscar-winning actress launched proceedings to get full custody of Nahla after claiming she was concerned for the tot's welfare when she was in Gabriel's care.
The 35-year-old model hit back claiming she was being "irresponsible".
However, the pair - who split last April after almost five years together - have now settled their differences, with Halle allowing Gabriel more access to Nahla.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "I think Halle started realising that things were getting out of control. It was just getting too nasty and too public.
"Gabriel has not responded to the allegations that have been made against him. His thing has always been that he will save the truth and fight, if needs be, in the privacy of family court, where no cameras or press are allowed.
"Gabriel and Halle even resumed talking again last week, and it seems that Halle is going to be making it easier for Gabriel to spend time with Nahla, which has been a sticking point between the two up until now.
"Hopefully, this is the start of the two of them being able to form some kind of workable co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter."
Halle - who claims she had to pull out of filming new movie New Year's Eve to focus on the custody battle - had said she was seeking "swift judicial intervention" because she was so concerned for Nahla's welfare.
However, Gabriel rubbished his 44-year-old former girlfriend's claims and accused her of telling lies about him.
