Gwyneth Paltrow has had an interesting love life filled with several luminaries such as Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and Chris Martin.
According to DailyMail, the GOOP founder rarely talks about her romantic relationships, but on Wednesday she shed some light on why some of her love affairs ended as she chatted with Sophia Amoruso on her podcast, Girlboss Radio.
'I've f***ed up so many relationships,' the blonde Oscar winner started.
Paltrow now dates American Horror Story and Feud producer Brad Falchuk.
When she was starting out, the daughter of accomplished actress Blythe Danner was engaged to Pitt after working with him on the horror film Seven. They were together from 1996 until 1997.
Next came Affleck who she was with from 1997 until 2000. He went on to get engaged to Jennifer Lopez and then wed Jennifer Garner, who he is now divorcing.
The Avengers actress has also been linked to Donovan Leitch Jr, Robert Sean Leonard and Luke Wilson.
Gwyneth continued: 'I'm actually a pretty good friend, and a good sister and daughter and mother, but I'm at my potentially most vulnerable and f***ed up in the romantic slice of the pie.'
The Iron Man star then added: 'It's taken me a lot of work to get to the place where I have a good romantic relationship.'
The Shakespeare In Love beauty was seen with an engagement ring on when she rehearsed an Avengers film with Robert Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo last week.
She added: 'Success to me is relationships that function really well. Where there is a beautiful feedback loop between people. I think without relationships of quality, you are not a successful person. So, if you don't have a good relationship with your partner, your children, your best friends, then it's really hard to claim success.'
It is not known if she is set to wed Falchuk who she has been with for about two years.
The podcast episode, which was called Gwyneth Paltrow Speaks Out About All That Goop Controversy, also covered her lifestyle site. She said when she pitched a venture capital it went like this: 'So, I go into the room, and for the first 90 seconds, I'm Gwyneth Paltrow. And they're like "Oh my god, my wife loves you, I love The Royal Tenenbaums, whatever."
'And then, about 90 seconds later, I'm just getting grilled, like anyone else. And actually, it was such a beautiful chapter of my life when I started raising my Series A, because it knocked me down so many pegs.'
The Emma actress added: 'I was like, "Oh, I'm like no one. I'm nothing. This sh** is real." 'I have to know the most granular aspects of my business and be able to defend it. The celebrity just completely drains out of the room. It's irrelevant.'
She also commented on her failures.
'In my case, all of the lessons, as painful as some of them have been, have been about my lack of willingness to step into who I am. Going into a hole is exactly the opposite of the lesson,' said the Sliding Doors star.
Girlboss Radio, which is now part of Sophia's recently-launched media venture Girlboss Media, is aimed at reaching 'ambitious women who are exploring success on their own terms.'
The newest episode with Gwyneth Paltrow is the second to be released in the reboot of Girlboss Radio - the podcast re-launched on August 23 featuring author Roxane Gay.
