KEY POINTS:
Gwyneth Paltrow has blasted rumours her marriage to Chris Martin is in trouble as "ridiculous".
The 35-year-old actress insists the only reason she is rarely pictured with her Coldplay star husband of five years is because they made a pact to keep their marriage out of the public eye.
She said: "You will never see us out publicly. We just don't want to be one of those couples. It evolved that way. He gets furious if I say something about him."
Then referring to an incident when she refused to reveal where her husband was, she said: "They were like, 'You're breaking up,' it's ridiculous."
Gwyneth, who has a three-year-old daughter Apple and two-year-old son Moses with Chris, says being a mother and wife has completed her as a person.
She added to Britain's Glamour magazine: "Having a family has made me feel whole. I used to be always searching and always lonely. I never feel like that anymore."
Gwyneth's mother Blythe Danner has also hit out at rumours about her daughter's marriage, telling People magazine the pair "couldn't have a better marriage."
"They are really happily married," Danner told People yesterday.
"They are together all time. The public just does not see them together. It's just so silly that people have to make a great big thing about it. It's just their way of being private and you've got to respect that. I guess they feel that being apart in the public will cause less heat."
Oscar-winner Gwyneth also revealed to Glamour her two children have very different personalities.
She said: "Apple is an open person. She's a Taurus - grounded, calm, funny.
"Moses is an Aries, he's the most sweet, sensitive thing but then he'll kick and karate-chop and spit and tumble. He's a real boy."
Gwyneth Paltrow recently hosted a Mexican dinner party for Moses' second birthday.
The Shakespeare In Love actress invited Moses' closest friends to the sophisticated New York bash on Tuesday.
She said: "It was so exciting. We had a little birthday party at 5pm - a little dinner for all of his New York friends. We had it in a Mexican restaurant - he loves guacamole."
Gwyneth revealed she is waiting until she is reunited with her husband Chris Martin - who is currently in the UK with his Coldplay bandmates preparing to release new album Viva La Vida - to give Moses his birthday presents.
She said: "His daddy is in London. So we're going to do presents when we can all be together.
"Moses is not so little anymore. He doesn't like a stroller anymore, he doesn't like a highchair. He likes his independence."
The 35-year-old actress also has a three-year-old daughter, Apple, with Chris.
