Canadian singer Grimes has opened up about her experience in the music industry, admitting numerous producers have blackmailed her for sex.
While discussing singer Kesha's current legal case with Rolling Stone, Grimes admitted she has come across several situations where male producers have coaxed her into sex.
"Male producers would literally be like, 'We won't finish the song unless you come back to my hotel room'," she told Rolling Stone.
"If I was younger or in a more financially desperate situation, maybe I would have done that."
The singer added there are few female producers in the industry, which she describes as "difficult" for women to enter.
