Dane, aka the lady-killing McSteamy of Seattle Grace's medical staff, reportedly appears in the saucy tape with his wife of three years,

Rebecca Gayheart

, and gal pal, former Miss Teen USA

Kari Ann Peniche

.

magazine. She also appeared on US TV series

Steamy tryst

The steamy tryst was reportedly filmed a couple of years ago and started floating around online yesterday, courtesy of website Gawker.com.

The website published an edited version of what's believed to be a 12-minute original video of the naked trio goofing around, pimping porn names, lathering up in a bathtub and talking about rubber duckies.

Editing aside, you can bet your bottom dollar it'll only be a matter of time before the uncensored version, if indeed there is one, hits the web in all its flesh-flashing glory.

And before you ask, no, we won't be linking to the naughtiness here - we rather like being employed and, besides, it's not like we haven't seen and heard it all before. Remember how the man with the healing hands first earned his moniker...

Porn names

Chatter says the footage features the seemingly intoxicated threesome passing around a camera in what's believed to be ex-beauty queen Peniche's apartment.

The footage then cuts to them discussing their "would be" porn names. You know that old gag where you unionise the name of your first pet with the name of the first street you lived on...*our porn moniker is

, btw ;-)

Dane reportedly says, "

My alter ego name is Peter, just Peter. My dog growing up was called Cocaine, and I lived on Manor Drive, so I'm Cocaine Manor

."

Usmagazine.com reports that at one point Gayheart allegedly says she has to lie down because she's "so high." Whatever that means, *cough*.

Dane then channels his inner

"I told you my name was Tuff Hedeman, the famous bull rider," he reportedly proclaims while reclining on a bed with Peniche.

Sex tape is not a sex tape

But before you get dreamy about McSteamy... it's not a sex tape, folks - it's just a "naked tape of three people maybe wanting to have sex", according to the talents' mouthpieces.

Minutes after the steamy tape surfaced, a rep for Dane and Gayheart, Marty Singer, spoke to TMZ.com and said his clients will sue anyone who publishes the video, which he calls "a private, confidential tape".

And as for rumours of a full-on, uncensored, 12-minute sex tape, Singer says: "From what I've seen it's a naked tape, not a sex tape."

He added, "At most it's three people maybe wanting to have sex."

A statement released by Singer, said: "This is simply a private, consensual moment involving a married couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the public."

The statement adds: "Although the participants are nude, the tape is not a 'sex tape'. It is a private tape made for only my clients' personal use, and nobody has the right to exploit it. If anyone exploits the tape, they will be violating my clients' rights and will be exposed to significant liability."

Exposed being the operative word, eh? Nudge, nudge.

All done in good fun

Former Miss Teen USA Peniche's manager, David Weintraub, has piped up and tells Usmagazine.com the saucy video was "all done in good fun".

"Kari Ann is extremely upset over this situation.

"She considers Eric and Rebecca dear friends, and this is an unfortunate incident where consenting adults who were having a little fun are now victims of having personal property stolen and private matters made public."

"There is no sex involved in this."

It's a naked tape of three people maybe wanting to have sex, remember.

From whence it came

Interestingly, Peniche reportedly also claims the video was originally stored on the hard drive of her computer, but was allegedly stolen by a roommate and subsequently leaked.

Her manager adds that she is "sorry that somebody has stolen these things and put them out," adding, "that's the overall of it. Those are good friends of hers. It was in good fun and, unfortunately, now it's public record."

Ain't it just. Oops!
