KEY POINTS:
Amy Winehouse's dad has been praying for his troubled daughter from his father's grave.
Mitch Winehouse has been visiting his father's final resting place to pray Amy gets help for her drug addiction before it's too late.
He said: "That's what I do every other day - I go to my father's grave and I pray. That is pretty much all I can do at the moment."
Amy - who is currently in the Caribbean with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil after overdosing on an alleged cocktail of drugs earlier this month - has been in contact with Mitch to reassure him she is okay.
The singer, who has been taking heroin, sent her father a text message saying: "I'm right as rain, love you lots."
Mitch has refused to blame Blake for Amy's worrying behaviour, insisting the Rehab singer must be accountable for her drug addiction.
He said: "I don't blame Blake. I think the responsibility for Amy's condition lies with Amy."
Earlier this week, Mitch revealed he believes his daughter and son-in-law - who have already quit rehab twice - have to hit rock bottom before they decide to quit drugs.
He said: "The only way out of this is not sectioning them, not locking them up. At some point they are going to reach rock bottom."
Meanwhile, Amy and Blake are said to be trying for a baby during their romantic break on the Caribbean island of St Lucia.
A source said: "Crazy as it seems, Amy reckons she would be a great mother and Blake would be a wonderful dad. She really believes having a baby would help them put all their troubles behind them. They look very much in love."
