In case Marvel Studios need another reason to make a Black Widow film, Game of Thrones director Neil Marshall is keen to take the reins.
The Descent and Centurion director, who also has helmed episodes of the wildly popular HBO series Game of Thrones, told Vanity Fair he would love to tackle a movie on the crimson-haired heroine.
"I think I'd like to do a big movie with a strong female lead, whether or not she would be a superhero," he said.
"I would love to do a Black Widow movie."
Marshall explained that Scarlett Johansson's character - next seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron - is interesting because unlike Captain America or The Hulk, she doesn't have any superpowers.
