KEY POINTS:
* If looks could kill. Angelina Jolie stared daggers at E! host Ryan Seacrest as he interviewed the humanitarian star and her partner Brad Pitt on the red carpet yesterday.
Babbling about breakfast and children, Ryan failed to illicit any response from the tight-lipped actress. Fortunately for Ryan, Brad managed a few light-hearted remarks before steering his ice maiden away.
* TMZ video footage shows Globe presenter Sean 'Diddy' Combs denied entrance to a swanky after-party at the Sunset Tower Hotel, while double award winner Helen Mirren was welcomed with open arms and ushered straight inside. Burn.
* Some people don't know when to keep their mouths shut. Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington upset his fellow castmates, yet again, when he answered a question in the press room at the award ceremony. According to US Magazine, Washington tried to set the record straight about last year's on-set incident, saying: "No, I did not call T.R. [Knight, who plays George O'Malley] a faggot."
Later, co-star Katherine Heigl, who plays Izzie Stevens, spoke out about the remark to Access Hollywood, saying: "I'm going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public. Period. I'm sorry, that did not need to be said, I'm not okay with it."
* Justin Timberlake may have started the latest celebrity feud, as he crouched down to accept Prince's award for Best Original Song. JT was presenting the award, when it emerged Prince was stuck in traffic and running late for the ceremony. The SexyBack singer then bent down, mocking Prince's small stature, and accepted the award on his behalf.
Could this be retaliation against Prince's performance at last year's Emmy Awards? Performing at the Entertainment Tonight after-party last year, Prince announced to a massive crowd: "For whoever is claiming that they are bringing sexy back, sexy never left!"
