Michael Jackson's This Is It documentary will be premiered in 25 cities next month.
The movie, featuring footage of the late Thriller star rehearsing for his 50-date London residency, will have 15 simultaneous premieres worldwide on Tuesday, October 27, with a further 10 events also held on the same date.
In the UK, the screening at London's Leicester Square will take place at 1am on Wednesday 28 October in order to coincide with the 6pm start time of the Los Angeles event on October 27.
Jeff Blake, Sony's worldwide marketing and distribution chairman, said: "Michael Jackson has an army of fans everywhere around the world. By rolling out this film simultaneously worldwide, we are giving audiences an incredible opportunity to join together in celebration of Michael Jackson's incredible career."
Following the premieres - which will also take place in New York, Rio De Janeiro, Berlin, Johannesburg and Seoul among others - the film will open to the public for a two-week run the day after the premieres.
Other events for the movie will also be held in Tokyo, Moscow, Sydney and Paris but are expected to be held at a later time than the concurrent premieres.
Tickets for This Is It go on sale on September 27.
Michael died of acute Propofol Intoxication on June 25, just weeks before he was scheduled to begin the mammoth run of concerts at The 02 arena.
