Former Glee star Mark Salling's recent child pornography charges are already having a negative effect on his career, with the director of his latest movie announcing he plans to cut the actor from the film.
The 33-year-old, who played bad boy Puck on the hit series Glee for six seasons, was arrested at his Los Angeles home in December of last year on suspicion of possessing several thousand photos and videos depicting child pornography. Last week, he was charged with receiving and possessing child pornography.
Adi Shankar, the director of Salling's upcoming film Gods and Secrets has confirmed that, following the charges, he will edit the actor out of the film entirely.
"Adi Shankar's Gods and Secrets will be moving forward without Mark Salling," Shankar said in a statement to US Weekly.
