Glee star Mark Salling has been arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography, the Los Angeles Police Department says.
Salling, 33, who played brash high school football player Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the hit US TV show about an unlikely school choir, was taken into custody in the Sunland neighbourhood north of Los Angeles, LAPD officer Liliana Preciado said on Tuesday.
The Glee actor's residence was searched by LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force earlier this morning (U.S time) where they allegedly found hundreds of indecent images of young children.
Gossip website TMZ reports that the police were tipped off by one of Mark's ex-girlfriends.
He is now allegedly being held in Los Angeles' Downtown jail waiting for the charges to be made against him.
