US TV presenter Giuliana Rancic says she couldn't believe how soon she went back to work after undergoing a double mastectomy.
The presenter was back at work two weeks after the operation and reconstructive surgery following her breast cancer diagnosis.
Rancic - who stars in a reality TV show alongside husband Bill Rancic - shocked herself with her speedy recovery.
"The day after my surgery Bill was filming me on the phone with a Britney Spears source trying to break the news that she got engaged," she told the UK edition of OK! magazine.
"I watched the footage recently and I couldn't believe I did that. I was having fun and it was a good distraction. Yes, it's major surgery and a lot of recovery, but if I'm feeling good then why not get back to work. That's the road I choose. Some people like to enjoy their misery and with me, I enjoy being positive."
