The young Perth cartoonist continuing the popular Ginger Meggs strip hopes to spend the rest of his life keeping Australia's longest-running cartoon relevant.
Only the fifth cartoonist to draw the redheaded scamp in its 87-year lifespan, Jason Chatfield said: "I intend on doing it for the rest of my life, and keep it going well past its 100th year." The 23-year-old took over the prestigious role last December, after the death of his friend, long-time artist James Kemsley.
