George Michael has splashed out £3 million (NZ$6.3 million) on a luxury home in Australia.
The three-storey, five-bedroom pad in an exclusive area of Sydney has a pool, glass walls, a terrace and a huge deck.
Described as 'ideal for entertaining', the beach-front property is perfect for the party-loving singer.
George, who turns 47 on Friday, fell in love with the coastal city in February this year when he visited for a concert tour.
Despite being scheduled to spend only a few days in the city, the Careless Whisper singer enjoyed his time so much he extended his stay to two months.
During his visit the openly homosexual star put in a surprise performance at the official Mardi Gras party and enjoyed several nights out.
He was also snapped taking a dip off the back of a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.
A source said at the time: "He loves Sydney and plans to split his time between here and London."
George currently shares a £5 million home in Highgate, north London, with his long-term partner Kenny Goss.
