George Clooney has said a politician's life is not for him.
The Oscar winner has dabbled in politics for years and currently fronts a Sudan action campaign.
Many fans believed his marriage to human rights lawyer, Amal Alamuddin, would prompt a more serious interest in global and national affairs, but the movie star has no interest in becoming a state senator.
"I've been asked about that for almost 20 years now," he told WENN.
"The answer is just no. I mean who would ever wanna live like that? I'm friends with a lot of those guys and I just think it's hell. I commend people who go into public service, because it's just such a horrible way to get elected.
