Geordie Shore's Charlotte shares thigh burn 'nightmare'

Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby, has revealed the "nightmare" she experienced after burning her inner thigh with a curling wand.

The star visited New Zealand for two days on a whirlwind University Orientation tour, which finished up in Hamilton last night, but it's not all fun and games.

She described getting a second degree burn which "melted" the skin inside her leg, after dropping the wand on bare flesh, during an interview with ZMs Fletch, Vaughan and Megan.

"I actually had to peel it off," she said on air. "Not really knowing what to do and being on planes nearly every day which isn't the best place for germs and stuff it then got infected.

"It's on the inside of me leg, so I couldn't wear clothes, it's hard to walk, lying in bed all day - I was having a nightmare to be honest."

Crosby came straight out of filming season 12 of Geordie Shore at 10pm UK time and flew out to Australia 8am the following day.

While the party lifestyle looks like a "dream job" Crosby, 25, admits it has it's downsides.

She's had a chest infection and stuffy nose for weeks, but the demanding schedule doesn't allow much time for doctor's visits.

"Obviously it's fun, it's everyone's dream job but sometimes it can get a bit tiring...I came to Australia and started work straight away."

She took time out to cross the ditch this week.

While she would not elaborate on the status of her relationship with fellow Geordie Shore housemate Gary Beadle, aka Gaz, she did say were just "seeing how things go".

Crosby became a household name after appearing on the reality show which saw her join forces with other Newcastle locals. The resulting chaos involved cat fights, boozy nights and plenty of drama.

She has been a regular feature since it first aired in 2011, earning fans with her no nonsense attitude, and bed wetting ways.
