It's been a whopping 12 years since Jak and Daxter first debuted on the PlayStation 2 - a somewhat revolutionary game that paved the way for platform adventures starring oddball duos.
While this isn't the new instalment that fans are no doubt craving, the Jak and Daxter Trilogy combines the franchise's first three PS2 instalments, gives them a slight upgrade for the Vita and lets you get on with the shenanigans.
It's a fun trip down gaming's memory lane: the duo - Jak, a troubled teen with an attitude, and Daxter, an unpredictable and clumsy otter/weasel hybrid - have plenty of charisma, the gameplay is fluid and fun, and the stories are still sound.
Sure, time hasn't been kind to the graphics engine, and the cut scenes can be lengthy and tiresome but it's like having a drink with a buddy you haven't seen for a decade - there's plenty of reminiscing to be done.
